Ladies, gentlemen, and Love Island fans all across America — I got a text! Love Island: USA is back and better than ever for season 6, arriving even sooner than you might think…

For those who are unfamiliar with the beloved competition series — with the American iteration streaming exclusively on Peacock — Love Island: USA brings a group of sexy singles together in a stunning Fijian villa to look for love with one another, as well as vie for a massive cash prize. With recoupling ceremonies and dumpings that are sure to leave your jaws dropped, as well as hot new bombshells that arrive every so often to shake up the current couples, Love Island: USA will undoubtedly have your eyes glued to your television screen almost every night, jam-packed with juicy drama, and season 6 will be no exception.

According to a synopsis for season 6, contestants (also known as islanders) will “face more drama than ever before with jaw-dropping revelations, brand new couples challenges, and even a few surprise guests,” but when will it finally grace our television screens? Today (May 7), Peacock shared the official premiere date via social media — as well as a sneak peek of the brand new host of the hit competition show — in a Barbie-esque teaser trailer. Keep scrolling to find out all of the nitty gritty details for yourself…

Love Island: USA season 6 will premiere on June 11

In the teaser trailer — which shows the season 6 host, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, channeling her inner Barbie while heading off to the Fijian villa, enjoying the sunshine, riding a moped, sitting atop a plane, parachuting, surfing, and more — narrator Iain Stirling announces that Love Island: USA will premiere on June 11.

Naturally, fans of the hit competition show took to the comment section to express their enthusiasm for both the sooner-than-expected premiere date, as well as Madix’s hosting debut (with the exception of guest hosting a few challenges on season 5 of Love Island: USA and season 1 of Love Island Games):

“Omfggggg yessssssss soooooo excited for this and happy for the queeennnnn to host! @arianamadix 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

@iaindoesjokes and @arianamadix on my screen for my favorite show of all time?! I’m so excited!!! 😍😍😍🩷🩷”

“Summer is going to be lit 🔥

“Summer is SAVED ❤️‍🔥

With this teaser trailer alone, it looks like season 6 of Love Island: USA is gearing up to trump all of the others. After all, Ariana Madix is a real life Barbie!

Nonetheless, be sure to mark your calendars and renew your Peacock subscriptions, as well as keep up with @loveislandusa on social media for updates regarding the season 6 cast and more. It is impossible to know for sure until the cast is announced, but hopefully some hunks and heartthrobs will be gracing our television screens this summer!

When does ‘Big Brother’ season 26 start? https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/when-does-big-brother-season-26-start/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/when-does-big-brother-season-26-start/#respond Tue, 07 May 2024 22:39:25 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1692194 'Big Brother' is back, baby!]]>

After season 25 of Big Brother was a train wreck (for lack of a better phrase), the beloved competition series is getting a chance at redemption with season 26, premiering this summer on CBS.

For those who have been living under a rock — AKA those who are unfamiliar with the hit competition show — Big Brother brings a group of individuals from all different backgrounds and walks of life together in a mansion (or should we say a soundstage) in Los Angeles, California for a high-stakes social and strategic game to earn a $750,000 cash prize.

With each and every contestant (or should we say each and every houseguest) under 24/7 surveillance, cameras and microphones capture their every move as they compete for the Head of Household (HOH). The HOH is able to nominate people for eviction — who can avoid being on the block by winning a Power of Veto (POV) competition later in the week — but the week ends with someone being eliminated from the show nonetheless. Naturally, Big Brother is filled with backstabbing and betrayal!

With season 25 having a later start and lasting longer than ever, fans of the show were thrilled to see that season 26 will get back to its usual summertime slot. What is the official premiere date, you may ask? Fortunately, we got you covered, as CBS took to social media to announce the premiere date today (May 7).

Big Brother 26 will premiere on July 17 and July 18

Big Brother will return to our television screens with a two night premiere on July 17 and July 18, with the network sharing the oh-so exciting news in an Instagram reel:

“Wait, did you see that? 👀 #BB26 is coming your way for a TWO NIGHT premiere on Wednesday July 17 and Thursday July 18! Mark your calendars for a whole new season of #BigBrother

Some Big Brother alums expressed their excitement in the comment section of the post as well:

Derek “Big D” Frazier: “It’s that time again! We are ready to JUDGE these houseguests ❤

Derek Xiao: “Lock in!”

Matt “Turner” Turner: “Oh we are so back.”

With longtime host Julie Chen Moonves serving as the face of the Instagram reel, it is safe to say that she will be returning as the host of season 26. While this is unsurprising, fans of the beloved competition series were thrilled to see her reprise her role nonetheless.

Be sure to mark your calendars and keep up with the hit competition show via Instagram @bigbrothercbs for cast announcements and more. With season 25 having some mixed reviews (mostly negative reviews) from viewers all across America, hopefully season 26 proves that Big Brother is back and better than ever!

Who received hometown dates on ‘The Bachelorette?’ Reality Steve reveals two of the lucky men ahead of season 21 https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/who-received-hometown-dates-on-the-bachelorette-reality-steve-reveals-two-of-the-lucky-men-ahead-of-season-21/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/who-received-hometown-dates-on-the-bachelorette-reality-steve-reveals-two-of-the-lucky-men-ahead-of-season-21/#respond Tue, 07 May 2024 21:36:03 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1692059 Filming for 'The Bachelorette' season 21 is starting to wind down...]]>

With filming for The Bachelorette officially underway — and quickly coming to a close — it is safe to say that season 21 will be a season like no other. The leading lady and first Asian-American Bachelorette, Jenn Tran, is truly a trailblazer!

While the Bachelor Nation encyclopedia in human form, Reality Steve, has been sporadically teasing this season’s dates as they film — such as the first group date of the season, which will feature “men in boxers and thongs” — as he receives paparazzi pics and spoilers from anonymous sources, he is now down to the biggest week that the beloved competition series has to offer: hometown dates.

During the coveted hometown dates, the Bachelorette visits the families of her final four men in their hometowns, respectively, proving that she is seriously considering a marriage with at least one of said suitors. With the hometown dates wrapping up as we speak, Reality Steve managed to pinpoint two of the contestants who undoubtedly advanced to the final four, and it is safe to say that Jenn has a hunky batch of men on her hands.

Who were these two contestants exactly? Fortunately, we got you covered — keep scrolling to see for yourself…

Hometown Date #1: Marcus Shoberg

According to Reality Steve himself — in a post shared to his X (formerly known as Twitter) account on April 26 — Jenn had a hometown date with Marcus Shoberg, a 31-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina. Given the fact that their date took place in Tacoma, Washington instead of out East, he also gave some context as to why they were spotted flirting up a storm at Titlow Beach.

“Marcus lived in the Seattle area after the army. A lot of his army friends currently still live there. He does not have a great relationship with his parents who don’t live in Washington, so my guess is that’s why his hometown is being filmed there.”

Hometown Date #2: Devin Strader

After her date with Marcus, Jenn embarked on a hometown date with Devin Strader, a 27-year-old from Houston, Texas. While it is unclear where their date occurred — with Reality Steve sharing no photos from the actual event — we will just have to take his word for it that this handsome fella actually makes it to the final four…

While it is unclear what either of these men are actually like until season 21 hits our television screens, it is safe to say that Jenn likes brunette boys nonetheless. To see if either one of them steals the New Jersey native‘s heart in the end — and to see who earns the other two hometown dates — catch brand new episodes of The Bachelorette when it starts airing on ABC later this summer.

After getting her heart broken by Joey Grazadei on The Bachelor, we cannot help but hope Jenn finds her happily ever after!

How old is Brooke Hyland from ‘Dance Moms?’ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/how-old-is-brooke-hyland-from-dance-moms/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/how-old-is-brooke-hyland-from-dance-moms/#respond Mon, 06 May 2024 22:31:32 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1691639 She left ALDC years ago, but how old is she nowadays?]]>

Today is a big day for Dance Moms fans all across the country, as one of Abby Lee Miller’s prodigies, Brooke Hyland, is officially engaged.

Today (May 6), Brooke’s longtime boyfriend, Brian Thalman, popped the question during a surprise proposal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Sharing a special moment in the oh-so scenic Frick Park, Brooke, Brian, and their loved ones celebrated with a brunch, also promising that an official engagement party will occur later this summer. Hopefully her ALDC friends make an appearance!

“Learned that he’s almost as tall as me on one knee — here’s to today, tomorrow, and forever after that,” the Pennsylvania native shared via Instagram alongside some photos from the proposal, and some of her Dance Moms co-stars took to the comment section of the post to express their excitement:

Paige Hyland: “Screaming, crying, throwing up… MY SISTER’S GETTING MARRIED 😭🩷👰‍♀️✨🥹💍

Nia Sioux: “Congratulations Brooke!!! So excited for you!!!”

Chloe Lukasiak: “My big sis is getting married!!!!!! ❤❤

Feeling as though they grew up alongside Brooke, this announcement was oh-so shocking to those who watched Dance Moms back in the day, leaving them questioning whether or not we have gotten extremely old over the years, or whether or not Brooke is simply getting engaged at an exceptionally young age. Seriously though, how can one of the kids we used to see rocking a tutu on our television screens already be getting married?

If you are having a crisis and questioning Brooke’s actual age just like we are, fortunately, we got you covered. Keep scrolling for exactly how old she is…

Brooke Hyland’s Age

Born to Kelly and Randy Hyland on January 30, 1998 in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, Brooke Hyland is 26 years old. Can you believe it?

Brooke is the oldest member of the Dance Moms cast, getting engaged at a relatively normal age, but will any of her co-stars follow in her footsteps? After all, Chloe has been dating social media sensation Brooklinn Khoury for quite some time!

While it is impossible to know for sure, but it is safe to say that we will be keeping up with each and every cast member on social media to see if any engagements are in the future, as well as whether or not they will be involved in Brooke’s big day. Only time will tell…

Is Taylor Swift going to the 2024 Met Gala? https://wegotthiscovered.com/celebrities/is-taylor-swift-going-to-the-2024-met-gala/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/celebrities/is-taylor-swift-going-to-the-2024-met-gala/#respond Mon, 06 May 2024 16:39:52 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1691442 If she does, she is sure to look 'Enchanted' this evening!]]>

On the heels of the release of her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift has an extremely exciting event on the horizon: the 2024 Met Gala. Surprising her followers time and time again with clues, cryptic messages and Easter eggs, fans of Swift have dozens and dozens of burning questions surrounding this year’s event: Will she actually show up? If so, what will she wear?

With co-chairs Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, and Zendaya certain to be in attendance at the exquisite evening of fashion — taking place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight (May 6) — Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, received an invitation to the star-studded night earlier this year. While we are confident that both parties would rock this year’s theme, “The Garden of Time” — which is sure to be jam-packed with botanical outfits — it looks like neither Swift nor Kelce will not be stepping out in their finest fits after all.

You may be asking yourself why, but fortunately, we got you covered. Keep scrolling to find out everything we know so far…

Taylor Swift is likely not going to the 2024 Met Gala

While it is unclear whether or not Swift will actually be in attendance until the limousines start to arrive in the Big Apple, PEOPLE reported on April 29 that she is likely skipping out on the special night to focus on the next leg of her critically-acclaimed Eras Tour, which will resume in Paris, France on Thursday (May 9). TMZ reiterated this soul-crushing announcement as well, leaving fans of Swift confident that she will not be stepping out in style at the Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight after all.

As far as Kelce goes, it is unclear whether or not he will be in attendance, but without his greatest accessory at his side — the “Cruel Summer” singer herself — it is likely that he will be skipping out on the star-studded evening as well, despite receiving an invitation.

While it has been reported by many media outlets that the oh-so attractive couple will be missing the 2024 Met Gala, we would not be surprised if Swift and Kelce shocked the world by showing up. Making a surprise appearance at Coachella last month to support friends Ice Spice and Jack Antonoff — marking the “Bad Blood” singer’s first time attending the festival since 2016 — anything is possible. After all, she has not attended the Met Gala since 2016 either!

Will 2024 be the year that history repeats itself for Swift? Only time will tell, but it’s safe to say that we will be seated on our couch, watching through our cell phone screens to see whether or not she actually arrives alongside Kelce.

What is the ‘I Had Some Help’ release date on Spotify? https://wegotthiscovered.com/music/what-is-the-i-had-some-help-release-date-on-spotify/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/music/what-is-the-i-had-some-help-release-date-on-spotify/#respond Wed, 01 May 2024 20:39:34 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1689957 "I Had Some Help" is already the song of the summer!]]>

“Sunflower” singer Post Malone is dominating the country music industry before even releasing some twangy tunes of his own, teaming up with arguably the biggest country star of this decade, Morgan Wallen, for a forthcoming track that fans are just too excited for.

Morgan Wallen and Post Malone have been teasing a tune titled “I Had Some Help” for weeks, debuting the song in an Instagram post on March 20 and finally performing the entirety of the track for the first time during Wallen’s headlining set at Stagecoach on Sunday (April 28).

Fans have already started to memorize the chorus of “I Had Some Help” — which reads “I had some help / It ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself / Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf / Been deep in every weekend, if you couldn’t tell / They say teamwork makes the dream work / Hell, I had some help” — deeming the tune to be “the song of the summer” even before hitting streaming services, and simultaneously solidifying Post Malone’s place within the genre. His raspy voice was made for country music!

Footage of both Morgan Wallen and Post Malone jumping around in the flatbed of a pickup truck while pyro went off in the background — all while being surrounded by high-tech cameras — was leaked via social media during Stagecoach weekend as well, making it clear that a music video for “I Had Some Help” is on the horizon, as well as its official release.

Because of this, country music lovers were left with just one question — When will it finally hit streaming services? — and fortunately, we got you covered. Keep scrolling for everything we know so far…

“I Had Some Help” release date

While neither artist nor their teams has announced the release date of “I Had Some Help,” KBAY Country — a country radio station based in The Bay Area — shared via Instagram on April 29 that “Bay Country will have [‘I Had Some Help’] for you first on May 8.”

Because of this, rumors began to circulate that the soon-to-be hit song would hit streaming services on May 8 as well, with the radio station debunking these rumors and revealing that the song would only “be in their rotation” at that time. Nonetheless, it can be assumed that the tune will be available on all platforms come May 10, as Fridays are typically when music is released on streaming services like Apple Music or Spotify.

While our fingers are crossed for a May 10 release date, we will just have to keep checking social media to see if either Morgan Wallen or Post Malone have anything to say before then. Either way, the song is certain to be nothing short of spectacular whenever we can stream it!

Who is replacing Katy Perry on ‘American Idol?’ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/who-is-replacing-katy-perry-on-american-idol/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/who-is-replacing-katy-perry-on-american-idol/#respond Wed, 01 May 2024 20:23:24 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1689940 There are tons of great contenders, but who will get the coveted spot on the 'American Idol' panel?]]>

After joining American Idol in 2018, “California Gurls” singer Katy Perry announced that she will be stepping away from the beloved competition series after season 22, leaving fans of the franchise with dozens and dozens of questions.

Given the fact that she seemingly loves judging the show alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, fans cannot help but wonder why Perry is stepping away from American Idol, but more importantly, who will replace her on the panel.

Fortunately, we got you covered. Keep scrolling to see for yourself…

Why is Katy Perry leaving American Idol?

On February 12, Perry announced on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she will leave American Idol after season 22 to focus on her career and making some new music. We can’t complain about that whatsoever — we have been anxiously awaiting a new album from the “Roar” singer!

“I think this will probably be my last season for Idol,” she shared onstage, despite the show making her feel “connected with the heart of America” over the past few years. “I feel like I need to feel that pulse to my own beat,” she concluded passionately, sharing something that fans of the franchise were devastated to hear, but understand wholeheartedly.

Who will replace Katy Perry on American Idol?

As of right now, it is unclear who will serve as Perry’s replacement, but the American Idol contestants, judges, host, and even the “Firework” singer herself have some ideas…

Who should replace Katy Perry on American Idol?

Admitting that she wants “someone that is not afraid to tell the truth in a graceful way” to take her spot, Perry shared that country superstar Jelly Roll seemed to fit the bill beautifully when he served as a mentor for the season 22 contestants. “I gotta say Jelly Roll was crazy when he came on the show,” the talented singer/songwriter told E! News. “I was convinced at anything he said. He could run for president, he could be my pastor, I might go back to church for him. He could sell me anything.”

While Jelly Roll is a great contender, judge Luke Bryan and host Ryan Seacrest had a different idea, telling Entertainment Tonight that Meghan Trainor would be a perfect fit after appearing as a guest host. “I think Meghan’s always been real fun. You know, that’s kinda been her brand, to have fun,” Bryan gushed, while Seacrest added, “She was very good. Megan is a super talent, and she’s got a great sense of humor. She’s fun and she’s spontaneous.”

Last but certainly not least, even former American Idol contestants and winners got a piece of all the action, with season 17 champion Laine Hardy telling Country Now that “If you want to go traditional American Idol, you can pull back Paula Abdul. If you want to keep going with these huge celebrities and stuff, Miley Cyrus or somebody around that kind of level.”

Needless to say, the options are seemingly endless, but who will ultimately secure their spot on the American Idol panel? We will just have to wait and see…

The worst ‘Survivor’ winners, ranked https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/the-worst-survivor-winners-ranked/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/the-worst-survivor-winners-ranked/#respond Fri, 19 Apr 2024 11:06:51 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1684937 'Survivor' has seen the good, the bad, and definitely the ugly...]]>

After 45 seasons of Survivor, there’s been a wide range of champions, but sometimes the person who takes home the million-dollar cash prize is not worthy of the title “Sole Survivor.”

So, we’ve compiled a list of the worst Survivor winners of all time, and some of these placements might surprise you.

Image via CBS

21. Season 43: Mike Gabler
Nobody expected Mike Gabler to win Survivor 43, due to his apparent cluelessness. His win is one of the most controversial of all time and because Survivor 43 is a less-than-stellar season, Gabler took the last spot on our list.

20. Season 32: Michele Fitzgerald
It still doesn’t make sense that Michele was rewarded the title of “Sole Survivor” and the million-dollar cash prize at the end of Survivor: Kaôh Rōng. Perhaps she should stick to The Challenge

19. Season 38: Chris Underwood
Chris coasted his way through Survivor: Edge of Extinction and did more in 13 days than the other finalists did in 39. We’re ranking him low because he didn’t play a full game, but he is a Survivor trailblazer.

18. Season 21: Jud “Fabio” Birza
Jud “Fabio” Birza utilized a strategy of cluelessness and stupidity that coasted him to an unsatisfying victory. He can be praised for his four individual immunity wins throughout the season, but as a whole, Fabio’s gameplay was lackluster.

17. Season 19: Natalie White
Natalie only won due to the jury’s hatred of the ultimate Survivor villain, Russell Hantz. The jury just wanted anyone but him to win, and Natalie was the best bet.

Image via CBS

16. Season 8: Amber Brkich
Amber Brkich surprised viewers all across America when she beat her now-husband, the iconic “Boston” Rob Mariano. The Survivor: All-Stars jury rewarded Amber with victory simply because they despised Boston Rob at the time.

15. Season 4: Vecepia Towery
Vecepia’s under-the-radar gameplay and quietness was just boring to watch, causing her to fall low on our list due to a win with no wow factor.

14: Season 17: Bob Crowley
Still reigning supreme as the oldest Survivor winner of all time Bob is undoubtedly a fan favorite but perhaps not a great winner. He had to squeak out a victory and nobody can deny he has his flaws.

13: Season 6: Jenna Morasca
Jenna wasn’t a bad player, but aside from her physical and social game, she wasn’t not the most outdoorsy. Hiding behind bigger threats all season long, Jenna managed to make it to the Final Tribal Council and won due to her strong ties to individuals on the jury.

12: Season 11: Danni Boatwright
Danni won, but didn’t pick up speed until the end of her season. Describing herself as a “stealth bomber”, her game was a snooze fest until the end.

Image via CBS

11: Season 12: Aras Baskauskas
Aras Baskauskas only won because Terry Deitz was voted out. Survivor superfans still believe that Terry deserved to bring home the bacon, making Aras’ victory underwhelming and unsatisfying.

10: Season 39: Tommy Sheehan
Tommy’s strong social game ensured his victory, but the rest was rather forgettable. However, we can’t put his win too low on our list due to the social and strategic masterclass he delivered.

9: Season 44: Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho
“Yam Yam” would have lost the beloved competition series had Carson Garrett beat Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt in the fire-making competition – and that’s after he trained Carson to make fire. This left fans wondering whether Yam Yam was strategic or if he just got lucky

8: Season 41: Erika Casupanan

Erika avoided being targeted on her season but, due to this lack of screen time, her victory was lackluster. Nonetheless, she made history as the first Canadian and lesbian to win. Go Erika!

7: Season 23: Sophie Clarke
Sophie is known by Survivor superfans for her blunt, witty confessionals but her victory was forgettable and she was overshadowed by the antics of her season’s more memorable castaways: Coach, Brandon Hantz, and Ozzy Lusth.

Image via CBS

6: Season 3: Ethan Zohn
Ethan’s innate likability and strong social game earned him the million-dollar cash prize, but as a whole, his Survivor journey was nothing super special, getting lucky on more occasions than just one.

5: Season 9: Chris Daugherty
With one of the greatest underdog stories of all time, fans wonder whether Chris deserved victory or if he just played the unfortunate cards he was dealt well. Nonetheless, despite losing his allies early on, Chris won after the jury praised the odds that he had to overcome.

4: Season 14: Earl Cole
Earl played a dominant game from start to finish but was deemed “a less-than-dynamic winner in a less-than-dynamic season.” He did make Survivor history though, as the first castaway to earn a unanimous jury vote.

3: Season 42: Maryanne Oketch
Maryanne Oketch played an amazing throughout Survivor 42, but it’s unclear whether Maryanne would have won had Jonathan Young been in the final three. Either way, her game was good, with her strategy coming to light late in the game instead of dominating from the start.

2: Season 5: Brian Heidik
Brian’s gameplay was largely overshadowed by the dark cloud that is Survivor: Thailand. As the jury despised finalist Clay Jordan, Brian won by one vote, a victory far too close for comfort. His dominance all season long was impressive, but he’s not one of the best winners by any means.

1: Season 36: Wendell Holland
Fans still believe that Domenick Abbate should have won this season, but Wendell’s game shouldn’t be overlooked as he excelled in all three key categories: social, strategic, and physical. Maybe Domenick should have won Survivor: Ghost Island, but Wendell’s gameplay should not be slandered.

The best ‘Survivor’ winners, ranked https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/the-best-survivor-winners-ranked/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/the-best-survivor-winners-ranked/#respond Fri, 19 Apr 2024 10:29:49 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1682691 Who is the best of the best?]]>

After 45 seasons of Survivor the beloved competition series has had a wide range of champions. So, who are the best and worst Survivor winners of all time?

Survivor has had 43 winners, so only 22 champions can be considered among the best. From a Survivor superfan: the upper echelon, from worst to best.

Image via CBS

22: Season 15: Todd Herzog
Todd Herzog delivered one of the best Final Tribal Council performances in Survivor history, and despite the jury being bitter, he managed to earn $1 million and the title of “Sole Survivor.”

21: Season 2: Tina Wesson
Despite initially being cast as an alternate, Tina Wesson played a strong matriarch of her tribe on Survivor: The Australian Outback. She convinced her ally Colby to bring her to the Final Tribal Council. Colby obliged, and he was ultimately beaten by Tina.

20. Season 45: Dee Valladares
Dee Valladares dominated Survivor 45 from start to finish. Forming a strong alliance with her Reba tribemates from day one. Manipulating her allies all while remaining in their good graces allowed Dee to make it to the Final Tribal Council and be crowned the champion.

19. Season 33: Adam Klein
Adam Klein from Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X doesn’t get enough credit for his win. In my opinion, Adam was overshadowed by a great player all season long, causing him to be overlooked as a winner by several Survivor superfans.

Image via CBS

18. Season 30: Mike Holloway
While Mike rubbed some of his tribemates the wrong way during the auction, he dominated challenges and secured his spot at the Final Tribal Council. A non-bitter jury saved the day, rewarding Mike Holloway as “Sole Survivor”.

17. Season 35: Ben Driebergen
I respect Survivor winners who fought for victory, and Ben Driebergen had to win. Despite his infamous “Ben Bombs” alienating his tribemates he secured his Final Council spot and was crowned champion of Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers.

16. Season 37: Nick Wilson
Nick Wilson’s victory was impressive. A strong social and strategic game snagged him his victory, making him a winner for the Survivor history books.

15. Season 1: Richard Hatch
The OG “Sole Survivor,” Richard Hatch set the precedent for how to play Survivor. The original castaways had it easier than today’s contestants but Richard set the blueprint for Survivor winners, and he had to be towards the top.

14. Season 13: Yul Kwon
Yul Kwon was the first Asian-American winner in Survivor history. Depending on whether or not you value strength or strategy on Survivor, some may say that he was undeserving, but he was a worthy winner.

13. Season 25: Denise Stapley
With a superb social game, Denise survived tribal council after tribal council. While all three finalists were berated by the jury for different reasons, Denise was rightly crowned the champion.

12. Season 10: Tom Westman
Tom Westman was a leader from start to finish. “You met the real Tom Westman, good or bad,” he famously said at the Final Tribal Council, and his honesty and vulnerability saw him crowned the champion.

11. Season 24: Kim Spradlin
Kim Spradlin steamrolled Survivor: One World, but how would she have stacked up against some stronger players? The world may never know…

10. Season 22: “Boston” Rob Mariano
Rounding out the top ten is “Boston” Rob Mariano, the winner of Survivor: Redemption Island. He takes the number ten spot on our list because he has played five times and only won once.

9. Season 27: Tyson Apostol
Tyson Apostol has played four times and only won once. While Apostol is one of my favorite winners, he’s towards the bottom of our top ten because of his unimpressive ratio of wins to losses

8. Season 29: Natalie Anderson
Natalie won Survivor: San Juan Del Sur, by outwitting her fellow castaways. Her talents were shown again in Survivor: Winners at War and Natalie undoubtedly deserves a spot in the top ten.

7. Season 34: Sarah Lacina
Sarah was crowned the champion of Survivor: Game Changers after competing in Survivor: Cagayan. She played a cutthroat game and her skills solidify her spot as one of the most dominant female castaways

6. Season 16: Parvati Shallow
Parvati made Survivor history by using her flirtatiousness to climb her way to the top, manipulating man after man over her four appearances. She is truly a Survivor trailblazer!

5. Season 31: Jeremy Collins
Jeremy finally got a taste of victory at the end of Survivor: Cambodia. He dominated the game and secured every vote at the Final Tribal Council. His victory was one of the most deserved in Survivor history and also one of the most exciting.

4. Season 26: John Cochran
John Cochran played a perfect game in Survivor: Caramoan, proving that even nerds can become GOATs. he’s since become one of the faces of the franchise, with longtime host Jeff Probst deeming him to be potentially his favorite castaway in Survivor history.

3. Season 18: J.T. Thomas
J.T. was just too likable throughout Survivor: Tocantins, to the point where his tribemates were putting their games at risk to help him out. He eventually emerged as one of the most dominant winners ever, while remaining in the good graces of everyone on the jury.

2. Seasons 7 and 20: Sandra Diaz-Twine
The first castaway to win twice, Sandra is the most dominant female castaway in Survivor history, becoming one of the faces of the franchise. Sandra has repeatedly proved to be a strategic mastermind and master manipulator, despite lacking in the social and physical areas of the game.

1. Seasons 28 and 40: Tony Vlachos
The Survivor GOAT is the one and only Tony Vlachos. If beating 19 other Survivor winners in Winners at War isn’t proof that he is the greatest winner of all time, we don’t know what is!

Which celebrities did Cheryl Burke date on ‘Dancing With The Stars?’ Her 3 off-screen showmances, revealed https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/which-celebrities-did-cheryl-burke-date-on-dancing-with-the-stars-her-3-off-screen-showmances-revealed/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/which-celebrities-did-cheryl-burke-date-on-dancing-with-the-stars-her-3-off-screen-showmances-revealed/#respond Thu, 18 Apr 2024 21:36:46 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1685022 Now THIS is some tea...]]>

Cheryl Burke is no stranger to spilling some Dancing With The Stars tea since stepping away from the beloved competition series, but the former DWTS pro really let loose in the the latest episode of the Amy and T.J. podcast — hosted by Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes — discussing something that she has never spoken out about publicly: her rumored relationships with her DWTS partners.

Participating in 26 seasons of Dancing With The Stars before retiring in 2022, Burke has been extremely outspoken when it comes to Tom Bergeron’s removal from the hit competition show, her exclusion from Len Goodman’s tear-jerking tribute, and more, but on April 15, she spilled some never-been-heard-before tea. According to Burke herself, she was involved in three separate showmances throughout her DWTS career, exploring a connection with three of her partners beyond the ballroom.

Who were these individuals exactly? Keep scrolling to see for yourself…

Which celebrities did Cheryl Burke date on Dancing With The Stars?

While she kept two of her three showmances under wraps, Burke confirmed that she had an off-screen romantic relationship with her season 10 partner, former football player Chad Ochocinco-Johnson, something that had been speculated since 2010.

“Dancing, especially ballroom, is an intimate contact sport, and it happens. I’m not going to say who, but I’ve had my own showmances… There’s a lot of great relationships that [come from the show]. People got married from the show, right? It’s seven days a week. You are consumed with each other. Also, we’ve seen their insecurities. They’re vulnerable, and especially as a professional woman who was a ballroom dancer teaching, let’s say an athlete, for example, who feels like this macho [person], all of a sudden he has to be like, ‘I don’t know if I can shift.'”

Initially stating that she would not reveal the identities of her showmances, Burke eventually spilled that she and Ochocinco-Johnson were an item, which was unsurprising to DWTS fans, as he professed his love for his dance partner on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the past.

Which of her other partners was the California native romantically involved with?

Season 7 partner Maurice Greene?
Season 8 partner Gilles Marini?
Season 15 partner Emmitt Smith?

Perhaps Cheryl Burke will reveal their identities someday, but for now, I guess we will just have to wait and see…

Taylor Swift: We hereby conduct this post-mortem meaning, explained https://wegotthiscovered.com/music/taylor-swift-we-hereby-conduct-this-post-mortem-meaning-explained/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/music/taylor-swift-we-hereby-conduct-this-post-mortem-meaning-explained/#respond Thu, 18 Apr 2024 21:05:39 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1685057 After all, the release of 'The Tortured Poets Department' is just hours away...]]>

On April 17, Spotify hosted a pop-up event in Los Angeles, California themed after Taylor Swift‘s forthcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department. With a series of clues being hidden throughout the exhibit, Easter eggs were everywhere!

The most notable Easter egg was a scroll that read, “The Last Will and Testament of Taylor Swift,” which Swifties interpreted as the old Taylor being “dead” — a cheeky nod to the lyric in “Look What You Made Me Do” — as she has moved on from her former relationship with Joe Alwyn to her current relationship with Travis Kelce.

After dating for a whopping six years — with Alwyn even serving as the inspiration for her Lover album — a source close to Swift told PEOPLE that they had officially broken up in May of 2023. While things seemed to be smooth sailing between the two lovebirds at the time, their split was largely due to “differences in their personalities” that became “harder to ignore after years together.”

Seemingly not on speaking terms with her ex-lover (no pun intended), fans have used the scroll featured at the pop-up event — as well as a series of words teased via Apple Music — to theorize that The Tortured Poets Department will be a deep dive into her relationship with Alwyn, AKA a “post-mortem” to explain why the relationship came to a close (for better or for worse).

Naturally, these theories came about on X (formerly known as Twitter). One fan shared via the social media platform:

@everaishamore: “If the post-mortem theory is true, then it all makes sense: we have a murder case. The victim is the relationship. the album is the autopsy which should reveal the evidence of how it died. And Taylor, as the chairman of the tortured poets department, is presenting it in court.”

Another Swiftie speculated:

@space_femalien: “All I can think of is this post-mortem idea. If we are really doing an investigation, the victim is the old Taylor, right? And the evidence that’s being entered into question is the cause of her death? And we’ll uncover it as we publicly perform an autopsy of her work.”

A third theorized:

@tweetsrichochet: “Terrifying thought: Hereby conduct this post mortem… AKA, an autopsy of the destroyed relationship.”

With these themes of darkness and death drawing quite a few similarities to Reputation — referencing the lyrics “The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now
Why? Oh, ’cause she’s dead” in “Look What You Made Me Do” once again — several Swifties speculate that The Tortured Poets Department will come with a special announcement as well, believing that she will shock individuals all across the globe by dropping Reputation (Taylor’s Version) as a double release, or simply announcing it.

Will this theory end up being true? Well, only time will tell, but expect The Tortured Poets Department to be a juicy “post-mortem” nonetheless…

If you’ve ever wanted to apply for Netflix’s ‘The Circle,’ here’s your chance https://wegotthiscovered.com/netflix/if-youve-ever-wanted-to-apply-for-netflixs-the-circle-heres-your-chance/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/netflix/if-youve-ever-wanted-to-apply-for-netflixs-the-circle-heres-your-chance/#respond Thu, 18 Apr 2024 19:28:25 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1684968 Alert! 'The Circle' is casting for season 7...]]>

If you’re anything like us, then chances are you’re obsessed with season 6 of Netflix’s The Circle and itching to give the beloved competition series a try for yourself.

Those who think they have what it takes to bring home the massive cash prize at the end by manipulating their fellow contestants in the ultimate game of strategy and social skills likely have one burning question on their minds: how can I get on the show?! Fortunately for you, we’ve got you covered.

It’s not easy to be a part of a show as popular as The Circle, but here’s how you can get your name into the pool of possible contestants nonetheless.

The Circle casting process

Images via Entertainment Weekly

In 2020, Netflix posted a casting call for The Circle season 2 via Backstage, seeking individuals of all ethnicities between the ages of 21 and 75 who were willing to shoot for six weeks overseas. For their participation, contestants would be compensated with $100 per day in addition to shooting and travel expenses provided by the streaming services. Nowadays, the requirements have shifted slightly: you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the U.S., Canada, the UK, or Ireland to be a part of The Circle, a decision that ultimately opens up the show to a more diverse group of individuals.

Sound up your alley? Those who meet the requirements can apply with their name and social media handles as well as a rough outline of what their strategy would be if cast. Aside from the written component, there’s a video component as well where Circle hopefuls are asked to showcase their personalities to the best of their ability in a one-minute video. After all, the casting team needs to see how you behave on-camera!

This application process still rings true today, and you can submit your video via the official casting website if you’re itching to be a part of the #CircleFam. Just in case the application process changes in upcoming years, be sure to follow @castthecircleus on Instagram for all of the latest updates. Who knows ⏤ you may even have a leg up on the competition when the casting team sees that you follow their page. *wink*

Our fingers are crossed that you get a callback. Good luck!
